Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum reopens, highlighting the city's bond with Jewish people

The Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum has reopened after three years of renovation.

20,000 jewish refugees fled Nazi-occupied areas in the 1930s-40s to find sanctuary in Shanghai. Many exhibits from this period are on display, and the new museum is nearly four times larger than before, allowing visitors to gain a deeper and better understanding of the history of Jewish refugees in Shanghai.
