John Kirby announces international partnership to protect Red Sea from Houthi attacks

John Kirby, the National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications, discussed the newly-formed international task force to escort and protect vessels crossing the Red Sea. U.S. officials say Houthi rebels in Yemen have launched drone and rocket attacks targeting ships in the area as a response to Israel's war against Hamas.
