It’s not known just who wrote or complied the original text of that flyer. In any case, it does not represent the views of the Institute for Historical Review. A few organizations or websites continue to cite the “66 Questions and Answers” flyer to give the impression that it represents views of the IHR, or as evidence that the IHR is a “Holocaust denial” organization. Upon doing a search for 66 questions ... In fact, the IHR does not “deny the Holocaust.” The Institute’s mission and purpose are laid out in the “About the IHR” section of our main website. It tells readers: “The IHR does not ‘deny’ the Holocaust. Indeed, the IHR as such has no ‘position’ on any specific event or chapter of history, except to promote greater awareness and understanding, and to encourage more objective investigation. Articles and reviews posted on the IHR website, and presentations given at IHR meetings and conferences, represent a wide range of views. Each writer is responsible for what he or she writes or says. Accordingly, the IHR does not necessarily agree with the content or outlook of posted or distributed items.”
