Palestine Protestors Arrested at Public Library near Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Route NYC 11.23.23

11.23.23 | By Usman | BRYANT PARK, Manhattan- Pro Palestine Organizers from Withen out Lifetime organized a demonstration on Thanksgiving Day around Times Square this afternoon. The March began around 11 am after the annual Thanksgiving Parade wrapped up. Organizers wanted to shift attention to the plight of the Palestinians and were critical of the holiday celebrations. Marchers ended at the New York Public Library during there some protesters started to tag the library with Free Palestine and with red hand paint. Police later arrested possibly a juvenile involved leading to some verbal chants against the NYPD. Protesters say three people were arrested at dispersal.
